I think this will take a lot of work but once it's done I think it will look really good. I think that it would be interesting to get a very unique looking clasp for the front. I think a good way to put the t shirts on the vest would be to weave them in.
ReplyDeleteThis idea has some good potential. One way you could integrate shirt cloth is to cut out the seams of a shirt and weave them or attach them somehow in their appropriate places. You could think about adding some pockets or something if it doesn't prove to difficult.
ReplyDeleteThis is a neat idea.It sounds like it would be difficult to assemble but could look very nice when completed. You could think about attaching the fabric over the wire like the tissue paper masks we saw in class.
ReplyDeleteThe idea of a wire vest reminds me of a fancy body armor. Maybe you can work on something like that. Like a medieval body arm type of thing but at the same time is a fancy vest. Also you can add a flower to the vest to give it a little more style.
ReplyDeleteMaybe instead of the shirt use some scrap of metal to make it look more like armor. But good idea though!
ReplyDeleteYou could use wire for stitching to attach the fabric! I think you should use casual plaid flannel to contrast the modern, more serious-looking wire. I like the idea of pockets, too. Awesome!
