Wire project


The two images I posted are of the same idea, but from two different angles. For my project I wanted to have a purse , and coming from the purse are snakes that are latching on to the body. The extra material I would be using is a snake skinned patterned fabric. The fabric would be used for the snakes, and details on the purse.

    I like it. Before I read that you were going to use a snake pattern I was thinking that it would be nice if the purse had the pattern on it too. It might be cool if the snakes kind of came out the purse.

    Very cool idea...me being a male, I don't have much experience with purses, but I think its kind of interesting how they make such an elegant accessory out of such a vicious creature. As far as your project, it might be cool, like Kelvonnah said, if the snakes actually emerged from the pattern, itself.

    Interesting idea. Would the purse itself be part of the snake or would the snake just be going over it?

    I really like your idea. Are you planning on having the snakes come out of the purse(like the inside) or do the snakes come off the purse? I think it would awesome if the snakes were attached to the purse growing out from it.

    You said fabric would be used for details on the purse, does that mean it will be mostly wire? You might experiment with wire weaving/wrapping versus links, since that might determine the flexibility of your bag. Likewise, the snakes might be quite awesome with slinking ability!

    Good artist skills! lol This could be looking very good when you get it all finished! I like the evilish snake being apart of the purse. Almost like its protect the purse from evil snatchers.

    Your idea is great because it's not just going to be a purse, eventhough I don't like snakes at all, it will be awesome to see how it turns out with the wire and fabric snakes coming out of it and latching to the body.

    Wow! This is such a unique and unusual idea. I am very impressed by it too. I like Elisia's idea about the snakes having slinking ability. Other than that you seem to have a great idea about everything you're going to do!
